Accounting & Administration Clerk

To support our dynamic team at artemis control Co Ltd in Taiwan, we are looking for a dedicated Accounting & Administration Assistant. In this key role, you will manage the accounts, including monthly and annual financial statements, and be responsible for tax matters and payroll accounting. You will also liaise with suppliers, customers and other partners within your areas of responsibility.

As the person responsible for accounting and payroll, and through your active interaction with our partners, you will make a significant contribution to the company’s financial stability and commercial success. A meticulous and structured approach to work, as well as excellent communication skills, are essential for this role.

We are looking for someone who is confident working in Taiwan and, ideally, in an international environment, and who can carry out their duties with a high degree of independence and accuracy.

Job profile

  • Accounting management: bookkeeping, including invoicing, account reconciliation and financial reporting
  • Payroll accounting and personnel administration: processing of payroll accounting and administration of personnel files
  • Monthly and annual financial statements: Preparation and follow-up of financial statements
  • Communication and correspondence: Receiving enquiries from customers and clients and providing written communication support where necessary
  • Quality management: Participation in quality management processes

Your skills

Your profile

  • Commercial training: Completed training or comparable qualification in the commercial sector
  • Organisational talent: Structured and independent way of working
  • Reliability: High level of accuracy and confidentiality when dealing with financial and personnel matters
  • Intercultural competence: Experience in working with international customers and partners
  • Proven knowledge and qualifications in the following areas
    • Bookkeeping and accounting
    • Taxes - knowledge of or willingness to familiarise yourself with international tax and customs issues desirable
    • Quality management in accordance with ISO 9001
  • Software: Proficient in the use of common office software applications, in particular MS Office and accounting software
  • Communication skills: Very good verbal and written communication skills in Chinese; English is desirable
